Should i ask a girl out if she doesn't live anywhere nearby?

i has a huge crush on this girl but i dint have the guts to ask her out, she then left for school in another country, i met her recently and she said she "liked' me, i dont know in what way.. i want to really ask her out but we're goin to college in different countries and as far as iknow she has a boyfriend,,,im goin crazy thinking about this.. should i asker out or atleast know if she is interested in me?
