40 degree classroom, help!?

I assume you are talking Celsius here. Is there no way to get a fan into the classrooms? We do not have air conditioning in all of our classrooms either and it can become really difficult to concentrate when it is very hot. If all else fails I suggest making a small fan out of folded paper. It seems like nothing, but it does help slightly and sometimes slightly is all that is needed. Also, a wet cold cloth on the back of the neck, combined with the fan can feel really good. Hope this helps some. Perhaps everyone can chip in and buy a window fan.
